Strategic Cooperation in Diplomacy and Security:

A New Chapter with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On March 25th, 2025, the Andalus Committee’s Paris Office was honored to participate in a seminar at the École Militaire’s Defence Academy in Paris, held in partnership with the Diplomatic and Consular Academy of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The seminar, titled “French Foreign Policy in France: How to Make It Visible, Tangible, and Understandable?”, provided a platform for in-depth discussion on the intersection between foreign and defence policy, civil society engagement, and media representation. The event featured contributions from Alexandre Jubelin, PhD in Modern History; Maxime Launay, PhD in Contemporary History; and Alban Schwerer, geopolitical analyst at the French Development Agency. It offered a unique opportunity for our delegation to engage in meaningful dialogue with practitioners and scholars on contemporary diplomatic challenges.

The Andalus Committee extends its sincere gratitude to Directors Didier Le Bret and Pascal Roos for their trust and warm welcome. This seminar marks an important step in the Committee’s growing collaboration with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. As the Committee expands its initiatives, it remains committed to promoting youth participation in international cooperation and fostering dialogue with the Global South in a rapidly changing global landscape.
