Executive Board

​​Application Process:

  • The deadline for applications is May 25th, 2025.

  • Successful candidates will be notified via email.

  • Candidates applying for leadership positions will undergo interviews during the summer.​

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a current student or a graduate (within the last five years).

  • Residency in New York or London is required for Treasury Department applicants.

  • Prior experience in relevant fields (Outreach, Treasury, Communications, Event Organization) is an asset.

  • Applications must be submitted before the deadline (May 25th).

The following Departments recruit Managers:​

    1- Chairmanship and Directorship: Supports the Chairman and the Executive Director in overseeing EB departments and branch coordination.

Ideal candidates should have strong experience in organizational management, coordination, and leadership.

Leadership roles: Chairman and Executive Director.​

    2- External Relations Department: Manages the committee’s external affairs, including:

  • Outreach strategy and partnerships

  • Sponsorship agreements 

  • Participation in external events

  • Coordination with national offices' outreach teams

Candidates should have experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and maintaining international networks. Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.

Leadership role: Vice Chairman for External Relations.​

    3- Treasury Department (New York and London Residents Only): Oversees financial management, including:

  • Budget allocation across offices

  • Ensuring legal and financial compliance

  • Coordinating with local treasurers

Prior experience in treasury, finance, or accounting is highly valued.

Leadership role: Vice Chairman for Treasury.​

    4- Communications Department:

Responsible for enhancing the committee’s visibility through:

  • Social media management

  • Graphic design and branding

  • Reports Formatting

  • Website administration 

Candidates with experience in website design, social media account management, or coding are encouraged to apply. The position of Website Administrator is separate and must be selected specifically in the application.

Leadership role: Vice Chairman for Communications.​

    5- Events Department:

Handles the operational logistics of:

  • Conferences, international summits, and meetings

  • Official committee tours and trips

  • National office event coordination

Prior experience in event planning and logistics management is highly desirable.

Leadership role: Vice Chairman for Events.​

    6- Editorial Department:

Oversees the committee’s publications, ensuring alignment with the editorial vision. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising report topics and content validation

  • Providing editorial feedback

  • Coordinating research efforts across national offices and research centers

Candidates must have editorial experience. Past experience in policy-making is a strong asset.

Leadership role: Vice Chairman for Editorial Content.

The Executive Board (EB) is the highest governing body of the Andalus Committee. It is responsible for defining strategic orientations, managing partnerships, and coordinating the committee’s branches worldwide.

Given the high level of responsibility involved, EB positions require significant

time and commitment.​
