Report Presentation to the Chilean Ambassador to the UK

The London Office of the Andalus Committee had the immense honor of being hosted on March 28, 2025, by H.E. Ximena Fuentes, Ambassador of Chile to the UK, to present the recommendations of our 2024 Annual Report on Arab–Hispanic Cooperation.

During this inspiring exchange, we had the opportunity to highlight the tremendous potential for deeper ties between the MENA region and Latin America, following six months of dedicated research. Whether in the economic sphere—through trade agreements and joint investment opportunities; geopolitically—with the rise of a more multipolar world encouraging diversification of partnerships; or culturally—with shared historical heritage and the deep-rooted presence of the Arab diaspora in Latin America, the opportunities for collaboration are vast.

We warmly thank Ambassador Fuentes for her attentiveness and insights, as well as the Embassy of Chile in London for their generous welcome. We remain committed to building bridges between regions united by history, values, and the promise of a fairer, more interconnected future.
